Curry & Kingston is happy to make our exquisite kitchen showroom available to community groups and local businesses for special events and meetings at no charge. We’re proud of our new space and appreciate the opportunity to show it off to our community.

How many people can the showroom accommodate?
Our high end, industrial style space can accommodate 5-20 sitting in the main kitchen area, 21-35 sitting/standing combination and up to 50-60 with no seating.  We provide chairs for up to 20 attendees.  Chairs can also be rented from Smith’s Party Rental.  For large events we will put you in touch with a valet service.

What kind of events work well? 
The showroom is an energizing space that works well for small board or committee meetings, industry groups and gatherings, speaker events, newcomer club groups, networking and dating groups, wine tastings and food demonstrations. Super space for a speed networking event!

What kind of food can be served?
Because of our full working kitchen with large island and Wolf range, our space lends itself especially well to wine tastings or food/cooking demos and other events with a ‘refreshment’ feature.

Can I bring a caterer or chef to the space?
No problem.  Bring your own caterer or chef, or we can assist you by providing a list of caterers and bartenders who are familiar with our space.

Is there a way to show a presentation?
We have a large monitor in the entry foyer which can be used for power point or DVD presentations, with seating for 10-12 people in that space.

Is there a separate bar area?
The foyer has a built-in modern bar and is an excellent space to set up your bar, crudites/hors d’oeuvres or sign-in table. Your bar can also be set up inside the showroom on the island where we showcase our our ultra-modern German cabinetry from Bauformat.

Can I hold an event and charge attendees?
We do not host for profit events for which attendees are charged, however, local nonprofits may host events with us that are fundraisers where proceeds go towards a good cause.

Luxury Marketing Council, Hudson Valley Chapter – Millennial Panel

A recent event held at the showroom in April was a survey/panel of young thought leaders hosted by the Luxury Marketing Council. The 22 participants gathered in the main kitchen area and were led by a principal in a professional research company. The topic? How millennials view and consume luxury brands. Our showroom was well suited to the topic and the group. According to Chapter Head Kathryn Minckler, “this was a very successful event for us –  we will return soon!” Read about this event in the Greenwich Times.

Opening Night Gala – Curry & Kingston Cabinetry

Opening night for Curry & Kingston was a huge success.  Nearly 60 local community leaders, architects, real estate professionals and designers gathered to honor the firm for restoring this landmark Cos Cob building.  A full bar with bartender, and Burke Catering (Andy Burke as chef) providing hot and cold hors d’oeuvres direct from our onsite Wolf range.  Great energy!
